EPOBOND EG -3K

Description

ARDA EG-3K is a three component. epoxide resin-based grout with hygienic, hard-wearing, impervious, a high degree of resistance to chemical attack and abrasion for heavy duty applications. The cured material does not transfer taints to foodstuffs, does not permit the entry of bacteria or dirt and is easily maintained in a sterile condition. Area of Application: Restaurants, hotels, kitchens, bathrooms, lobbies, swimming pools, showrooms, shopping malls, multiplexes, laboratories, food & breweries, industries, operating theaters, clinics, production and storage workshops.

APPLICATION/USES

• Liberally apply EPOBOND EG-3K to the surface to be grouted and work the grouting to the joint with a rubber sponge trowel or rubber grout squeegee.
• Ensure joints are completely filled Wait for 10-15 Min.
• Excess EPOBOND EG-3K must be work headway from the joints and cleaned off as work progresses to avoid hardening in undesirable areas.
• The grouted joints must be left to dry and harden for 2 hours before removing excess grout with a damp (not wet) sponge
• The joints can be finished off by point in a long the joint lines
• Do not leave any excess moisture on the surface of the grout joints which may cause florescence on drying
• The joints must be allowed to dry for 24 hours before polishing with a clean dry cloth
• For exterior applications ensure that the grouting is protected from the elements for the first 24hrs (direct sunlight, wind & rain)
